XM's quality-control route starts with a documented artwork specification. Hand-painted work is checked against an approved visual benchmark; printed work is checked against the approved file and proof. Finishing and packing are reviewed as separate production stages.

A final inspection cannot correct an unclear brief. The useful benchmark records the artwork, dimensions, palette, texture, canvas, finishing, quantity, allowed variation and approval evidence before the order moves forward.

Rolled, stretched and framed work need different protection.
Packing is matched to the shipment form, dimensions, surface relief and destination. The final quotation should identify whether artwork ships rolled, stretched or framed and which packing evidence is required before dispatch.

Questions about approval and inspection
What is an approved master artwork?
An approved master is the visual and specification benchmark used to evaluate later production. It records the composition, palette, texture direction, dimensions, canvas, finish and any agreed tolerance rather than relying on memory or informal messages.
How does XM check color variation in hand-painted art?
Color is reviewed against the approved palette relationship and reference evidence. Because pigments are mixed and applied by hand, the goal is controlled similarity within the agreed range, not a claim of pixel-identical output.
Can buyers receive photos or video before shipping?
Photo or video review can be included when agreed for the project. The required views, timing and approval responsibility should be defined before production so the evidence is useful and does not create an unclear late-stage review.
How is artwork packed for international shipping?
The packing route depends on whether the artwork is rolled, stretched or framed, as well as its dimensions, texture and shipment method. Protective layers, corners, surfaces, labels and package count are matched to the confirmed specification.
